Message from a client As with many things we do in life (i.e. job performance, driving a car, playing a musical instrument) we seek the expertise of a professional in the field to achieve our goals to succeed. The same formula should apply to fitness and strength training. A personal trainer is the professional who can teach one to attain the goals of maximum cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and tone, and let's face it, what we all want is improved physical appearance. I have been training with Courtney for almost a year now and have vastly improved my cardiovascular health and physical strength. I've never been an athletic person and lacked confidence in physically challenging myself . Recently turning 50, I started having health problems and knew excess body fat from years of yo-yo dieting and lack of physical activity were contributing to my poor condition. I've responded very well to the one-on-one aspect of training with Courtney. Besides educating me on proper form in weight training, he mixes up the sessions with new and challenging activities that I would never think of doing on my own. He also provides positive feedback and encouragement and gives me the confidence that I can indeed do pull-ups or military-style push-ups which I never imagined I could do a year ago.
